Access is NOT Denied! I tried all sorts of trick including rebooting, deleting the cached dlls, unregistering msxml3.dll etc for 3 hours, but in vain, didn't get a permanent solution to the dreade 'access is denied' ASP.NET error, finally googled and found this article, read that indexing service is a major culprit, stopped it, and voila !!! problem solved.
